WELCOME TO DEREK WALTER PHOTOGRAPHY
My photography experience truly started when I had the opportunity to go to Tanzania for a photo safari. A year and a half before the trip, I invested in professional photo gear so that I would be ready for the trip of a lifetime. As I was learning my way around the new camera, it opened my eyes to the world of photography. Though my original direction was towards wildlife photography, I soon found that what I enjoyed most was to capture photos of the most interesting animal...the human.
My interests now lean to portrait photography. I enjoy working in my studio as well as on locations inside and in the great outdoors. I am learning and experiencing more all the time, and would like to delve into wedding, engagement, and senior photography.
I offer very competitive pricing and I am also looking to enlarge my portfolio so am am willing to do "trade for" deals if they suit both of us.
